Women’s Health and Emergency Medicine for Primary Care

This activity focuses on the recognition and management of common and high-risk conditions across women s health, primary care, and acute medicine. Topics include reproductive health, contraception, heavy menstrual bleeding, PCOS, perimenopause and menopause, breast and gynecologic cancer screening, genito-urinary emergencies, toxicology, pediatric emergencies, anaphylaxis, asthma and bronchiolitis, and rare but critical presentations such as catastrophic chest pain and acute aortic syndrome. Case-based discussions emphasize rapid bedside decision-making, office-based procedures, and practical strategies for managing acute presentations in both the outpatient and emergency settings.
