Pharmacy Pearls for Prescribers provides up-to-date information on medications, developed by a multidisciplinary group of AMG primary care physicians and pharmacists from Avera Health and Avera Health Insurance Division. An interdisciplinary group has been working to develop educational materials to meet this need. In this series we will discuss anticoagulation management related to: basics of warfarin management and helpful considerations, direct acting oral anticoagulants, obesity and anticoagulation, and considerations for generic dabigatran.
