Pharmacy Pearls for Prescribers provides up-to-date information on medications, developed by a multidisciplinary group of AMG primary care physicians and pharmacists from Avera Health and Avera Health Insurance Division. An interdisciplinary group has been working to develop educational materials to meet this need. In this series we will discuss diabetes and prediabetes management related to: considerations for initiating pharmacotherapy in T2 Diabetes, managing SGLT2 Inhibitor adverse effects and cardiorenal risk reduction in T2 Diabetes.
