A New Era in MASH: How Disease-Specific Therapies Are Changing the Game and Best Practices for Clinical Integration

Addressing disease progression in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) has long been hindered by the absence of targeted therapies. With the approval and late-stage development of agents featuring novel mechanisms of action, a new era of disease management is here. This activity will showcase clinical integration of thyroid hormone receptor- (THR- ) agonists through interactive, case-based discussions. The most recent advances in noninvasive testing to better detect liver disease along with clinical efficacy and safety data of late-stage therapies will also be discussed.
