This enduring dialogue aims to improve clinicians knowledge of changes in the treatment paradigm for advanced UC and to improve their competence in optimally incorporating recommended therapies into practice, especially in the management of adverse events, using multidisciplinary approaches. As a result of this education, learners should be able to: 1. Review guideline-recommended first-line systemic treatments for patients with advanced UC; 2. Identify AEs among patients receiving preferred first-line systemic treatment for advanced UC; and, 3. Outline multidisciplinary strategies to optimize care for patients receiving preferred first-line systemic treatment for advanced UC. Learners have access to downloadable materials.
