Beyond Biologics for Psoriasis and PsA: TYK2 Inhibitors and Practical Considerations for Personalizing Care

This enduring activity highlights two expert faculty’s discussion on the evidence for available and emerging TYK2 inhibitors in psoriatic disease and to improve their competence in the individualized use of oral small-molecule therapies to improve outcomes for their patients. As a result of this educational curriculum, learners will be better able to: 1. Recognize how NPs and PAs can help address barriers to care and enhance outcomes for patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis; 2. Differentiate TYK2 signaling from JAK pathways and explain the relevance of these distinctions in clinical outcomes; 3. Evaluate the impact of emerging data on TYK2 inhibitors in shaping therapeutic strategies for psoriatic disease; and, 4. Apply strategies for aligning TYK2 inhibitor therapy with patient needs and multidisciplinary care plans. Learners have access to downloadable materials.
