Bringing RVO Into Focus: Case-Based Approaches to Optimizing Management With Anti-VEGF Therapies

This enduring uses case-based scenarios and aims to improve ophthalmologists ability to promptly diagnose retinal vein occlusion and implement optimized, patient-centered treatment strategies using appropriate anti-VEGF therapies within multidisciplinary care. As a result of this educational activity, learners will be better able to: 1. Describe best practices for diagnosing RVO; 2. Differentiate between the clinical profiles of available newer-generation intravitreal anti-VEGF therapies for macular edema (ME) secondary to RVO; and, 3. Propose optimized, patient-centered treatment plans for the multidisciplinary management of patients with RVO. Learners have access to downloadable materials to enhance clinical practice.
