PCP Pediatric Consult Podcast A central contributor to health disparities is decreased access to front-line clinicians with the knowledge and support they need to manage patients with chronic, common, and complex conditions. Community healthcare providers need education pediatric diagnoses so patients and families can receive treatment and/or be referred to the right level of care when needed. There is often a long wait for specialty services, so it benefits the community if community healthcare teams can provide treatment in the practice setting whenever possible.
