Upon completion, participants should: Understand treatment of complex shoulder and elbow pathology in throwing athletes. Review the benefits of UCL repair versus reconstruction in pitchers. Be able to describe the biomechanical implications of the windmill pitch and subsequent risk for shoulder injuries in softball players.
