The goal of this program is to improve management of COVID-19 infection in children, and management of uncommon infections in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Implement effective interventions against infection with COVID-19. 2. Identify persons recommended to receive additional doses of COVID-19 vaccines. 3. Differentiate primary varicella zoster virus (VZV) from secondary VZV. 4. Use diagnostic testing for detection of congenital syphilis. 5. Recognize signs and symptoms of epiglottitis and mumps.
