Culminating Insights: Advancing NMRF Research through a CBPR Lens

The Advancing Non-Medical Risk Factors (NMRF) of Health Research Short Course is designed for nursing and health professional researchers seeking to deepen their understanding of the factors that contribute to health-related challenges and to apply that knowledge through community-based participatory research (CBPR). Non-medical risk factors refer to the social, economic, environmental, and behavioral conditions that shape health outcomes such as housing stability, access to nutritious food, education, income, transportation, and experiences of discrimination. Participants will gain practical tools to design studies that integrate multiple perspectives and translate NMRF knowledge into real-world impact for communities and their health.
