Major changes in evaluation and management documentation guidelines have taken place in 2021. This program seeks to outline and clarify these changes as well as review inpatient evaluation and management guidelines for providers. Specifically, the evaluation and management guidelines for outpatient visits will be based solely on medical decision making or time spent on patient care or planning of care the day of service. This session intends to provide a comprehensive review. We now will update this for the changes to inpatient consultation codes as of 2023 and the new G2211 code as it pertains to Otolaryngologists.
