ELEVATE: Enhancing Anesthesia Choices for Cesarean Delivery

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: 1. Describe the rationale and goals of the ELEVATE initiative, including how it addresses gaps in patient-centered care during cesarean delivery. 2. Summarize the key methods used in the ELEVATE engagement process, including stakeholder identification, deliberative approaches, and integration of diverse perspectives. 3. Identify core domains of patient experience and values such as trust, anxiety, communication, and autonomy that influence perceptions of quality in cesarean anesthesia care. 4. Explain how ELEVATE findings inform the design of future research and clinical interventions, including core outcome sets, implementation priorities, and potential AI-enabled tools to support empathetic perioperative care. 5. Reflect on how patient-centered insights from ELEVATE can be applied locally to improve communication, team coordination, and anesthesia care during cesarean delivery.
