Emotional Dysregulation and Understanding the Tic Disorder Triad

This course builds upon multiple AAP Tourette Syndrome Courses, and is designed to provide clinicians with practical tips, knowledge, and resources to effectively describe components of pediatric dysregulation. The course will describe steps a clinician could take when a child presents with tic disorder, ADHD and OCD, and components of dysregulation, such as mood, movement, thoughts and actions, as well as the interplay of comorbidities and neurodiversity. This course will increase clinical care competence surrounding Tourette Syndrome and co-occurring conditions, thereby supporting efforts to support patients and families navigate the complexities of a diagnosis.
