This CME/NCPD/CPE-approved Patient Journey activity will lead learners in a gamified exploration of the case of Erik, a 49-year-old man who seeks answers to the mysterious symptoms he has been experiencing, which will turn out to be CIDP. As learners engage in Erik s diagnosis and individualized treatment planning, an expert in CIDP management will help them to sharpen their skills in the following areas: Diagnosing CIDP accurately and promptly Understanding guideline recommendations for induction and maintenance therapy Appraising efficacy and safety data for current and emerging treatment options Tailoring therapeutic selection to patients needs and preferences Applying guideline recommendations for personalized dosing based on treatment response In the Learner Challenges, learners will make decisions regarding Erik s diagnosis and treatment through a grouping game and sequential card-flipping activities. In the sequential card-flipping activities, they will be presented with a question and will select a card representing an answer choice, which will flip over to reveal an explanation of why that choice is correct or incorrect. Once learners have chosen the correct answer, information and a question concerning the next step in the patient s care will be revealed. The immediate feedback allowed by the gamification will help learners to identify areas of educational need that they can address through completion of the activity. i3 Health s proprietary learning management system will allow measurement of Moore s Level 5 outcomes, inclusive of the extent to which the activity closed the identified educational gaps and its impact on real-world practice. The Patient Journey activity will be made accessible via the i3 Health website and mobile app. To expand the reach and distribution of the educational content to the broader health care provider audience, the activity slide set will be made accessible for use as a self-study or teaching resource.
