The goal of this program is to improve management of esophageal and gastric cancers (EGCs) and management of immune-related adverse effects (irAEs) associated with immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Analyze evidence-based data to optimize EGC treatment regimens. 2. Understand the impacts of biomarker scoring on treatment of EGC. 3. Predict improved patient outcomes based on the incidence of irAEs. 4. Increase awareness of toxicity levels associated with various classes of immune checkpoint inhibitors. 5. Administer steroids for management of irAEs.
