The goal of this program is to improve management of vocal care in patients undergoing thyroid surgery. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: Use intraoperative nerve monitoring to reduce the incidence of nerve damage during thyroid surgery. Select treatments for relief of throat pain and chronic cough after thyroid surgery.
