The Gestational Diabetes Online Course is a self-paced, four-module course that provides an in-depth overview of the diagnosis and management of gestational diabetes. Through interactive case studies and evidence-based information, learners will review disease state, the role of nutrition and physical activity, glucose monitoring, and medication management. The DCES will learn practical tips to assist with shared decision making to improve the quality of care for the pregnant person with GDM. Social Determinants of Health have been highlighted in each module. Use of the course material should be relative to each DCES licensure, registration, and scope of practice.
