Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute Breast Cancer Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement

Through a structured quality-improvement process, this activity enhances learners competence and performance by helping them identify care gaps in the management of HER2+ metastatic breast cancer, implement targeted evidence-based interventions, and collaborate across interprofessional teams to develop concrete action plans that address both human and system-level barriers. Participants will be supported in applying best practices within their clinical settings and will engage in ongoing assessment to measure improvements in knowledge, team functioning, and patient care. Insights gained will inform broader adoption of effective strategies across BHSF, ultimately strengthening the overall quality of care.
