1. Define ICDs, differentiate them from pacemakers and identify patients who need them 2. Interpret device electrograms and detect arrhythmias 3. Identify the most common discriminators, or tools, that ICDs use to determine the type of arrhythmia 4. Tailor ICD settings to provide treatment for abnormal rhythm 5. Troubleshoot the most common ICD issues. 6. Devise an appropriate treatment plan and answer the most common questions that ICD patients have
