Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in Locally Advanced HNSCC: Current Evidence & Clinical Integration

For many years, the standard of care for patients with locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) remained relatively unchanged. However, immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-based regimens have become the standard of care for patients with recurrent or metastatic HNSCC and thus have been investigated in earlier disease settings with promising results. As such, the management of patients with locally advanced HNSCC remains complex, and multidisciplinary care team members must remain abreast of the latest clinical trial data and regulatory developments. Join HNSCC experts Drs Barbara Burtness and Ravindra Uppaluri for an engaging discussion on the current clinical landscape and future direction we are heading with ICIs in locally advanced disease.
