The Introduction to Abdominal Doppler Ultrasound Online Course provides comprehensive, self-paced education designed to help sonographers, physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals develop a strong foundation in abdominal vascular ultrasound and Doppler imaging. Taught by expert faculty, this online course combines essential ultrasound principles with practical clinical applications to improve confidence in performing and interpreting abdominal Doppler examinations while earning AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) . Participants will review imaging fundamentals, abdominal Doppler physics, and Doppler optimization techniques before progressing through comprehensive instruction on ultrasound evaluation of the abdominal aorta, aortic endografts (EVAR surveillance), renal artery stenosis, mesenteric duplex sonography, porto-hepatic duplex sonography, and introductory transplant sonography. Through engaging lectures and real-world case examples, learners will strengthen their understanding of abdominal vascular anatomy, hemodynamics, scanning protocols, image interpretation, and recognition of normal and abnormal Doppler findings. Enrollment includes 12 months (365 days) of unlimited online access beginning immediately upon registration, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and revisit course content as needed. Those seeking hands-on scanning experience may extend their online access an additional 3 months by registering for a custom (one-on-one or group) hands-on workshop.
