Introduction to Cognitive Therapy (CBT) for non-therapists: Part 2

There is a recognized gap in non-therapist clinicians ability to identify and address psychological and behavioral challenges commonly experienced during midlife and menopause. Although evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies are recommended in current clinical guidelines as effective tools for managing symptoms such as mood changes, anxiety, sleep disturbance, and stress, most clinicians receive little formal training in behavioral health integration. As a result, these approaches are inconsistently applied in practice. This activity addresses this gap by providing practical, case-based CBT education that clinicians can apply in routine care of midlife and menopausal patients.
