Lupus Nephritis: Still Hard to Diagnose and Harder to Manage

Patients with lupus and kidney disease are often misdiagnosed or diagnosed late. This translates into inappropriate management and at times inappropriate handling of newly approved medications, as well as lack of monitoring for disease state of remission and relapse. In this session, faculty will review and examine the importance of diagnostic tools, in particular the role of kidney biopsy findings and their use in management of kidney disease in lupus.
