The goal of this activity is for learners, as members of the healthcare team, to increase their knowledge regarding the evidence for and limitations of cognitive interventions in improving cognitive performance and delaying dementia onset, as well as the concept of cognitive reserve, its modifiable determinants, and its paradoxical role in both attenuating and ultimately accelerating the clinical course of neurodegenerative disease.
