Nonnutritive Sweeteners/Varicose Veins

The goal of this program is to improve patient counseling on the use of nonnutritive sweeteners and management of varicose veins. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Compare neotame with aspartame. 2. Explain data linking erythritol to cardiovascular disease. 3. Counsel patients on the impact of maternal consumption of nonnutritive sweeteners on offspring. 4. Diagnose and classify venous insufficiency. 5. Differentiate surgery from thermal ablation in management of varicose veins.
