The number of vaccines that are currently used and in the process of research is constantly growing. The Gamble research team needs to have current knowledge of the vaccines and research protocols to effectively provide care to patients in the various studies along with coordinating and completing the research aspects of the vaccine studies. Internal needs assessments identified a gap in knowledge and skills related to study requirements for patient documentation and performance of accurate lab procedures. It also identified a need for clarifying the team s roles and responsibilities to better enhance collaboration and communication.
