Online School Friendly Health Systems Education Series 2024 – Everything School Districts Wish You Knew About Special Education 10.17.2024

Healthcare professionals often struggle to integrate their services with school systems to support children’s health and academic success. Limited exposure to structured frameworks that guide school-health partnerships and insufficient awareness of each profession’s unique contributions to student well-being are the cause of these challenges. Consequently, opportunities for coordinated care and improved outcomes may be missed. This interprofessional continuing education series will introduce the School-Friendly Health Systems framework, fostering collaborative practice, and demonstrating how diverse healthcare teams can collaboratively contribute to students’ health and academic potential through team-based approaches.
