This one-hour, online intermediate-level course, developed in collaboration with the Opioid Response Network (ORN), uses real-world case studies to help medical professionals strengthen their clinical judgment in treating opioid use disorder. Through three scenario-driven case studies, learners will explore challenges related to access, stigma, co-occurring conditions, and care delivery across different populations and environments, with a focus on rural communities. The target audience for this intermediate-level course includes: Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Nurses, Pharmacy and Pharmacy Technicians, Social Workers, and other health care professionals with experience in addiction medicine. This activity addresses the following ACGME Competencies: Patient Care and Procedural Skills, Medical Knowledge, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Professionalism, and Systems-based Practices
