This presentation will review the definition and diagnosis of perimenopause, common symptoms of perimenopause, and treatment strategies for common symptoms of perimenopause. Learners will come away with a better appreciation of the risk of mood disorders, expected course of cognitive changes, and the importance of attending to vasomotor symptoms and sleep symptoms in perimenopause.
