Pneumothorax and Chest Tube Explained Clearly is a course designed to clarify, review, and augment the training and understanding of primary care clinicians in their understanding of pneumothorax and chest tube management. The module included in this course takes a departure from the traditional slide presentation style lecture. Instead, the course is comprised of a video lecture aided by real-time instructor-led chalkboard visuals. This method of learning allows for the subject matter to be broken down to the basics and is designed to increase learning and retention. Pneumothorax and Chest Tube Explained Clearly covers primary and secondary spontaneous pneumothoraces and non-spontaneous pneumothoraces along with the diagnosis, including the utilization of ultrasound for diagnosis, and treatment. It also will instruct how to properly manage a chest tube container setup. This CME course will utilize a combination of video and systematic discussion of clinical scenarios and practice cases to effectively deliver the course content.
