Prescribing with Precision: Optimizing Medication Use in Patients with Kidney Disease

The kidneys are fist-size organs that play an integral role in drug pharmacodynamics. In this session, you will learn how to detect kidney disease and measure kidney function as well as identify medications that slow progression of kidney disease. Learn which medications may be harmful to patients with acute or chronic kidney disease. The session will be followed by an open Q&A session with the nephrologist.
