Identify normal ultrasound landmarks for guiding central line placement. 5. Identify normal ultrasound landmarks for guiding lumbar puncture. 6. Identify the ultrasound findings of pleural effusion to guide thoracentesis. 7. Identify the ultrasound findings of free fluid in the abdomen to guide paracentesis. 8. Discriminate between endotracheal tube placement in the trachea and in the esophagus. 9. Master ultrasound transducer sterile technique.
