RSV Prevention Playbook: Applying Protection Strategies in Real-World Pediatric Practice

This is a recording of the in-person event held during the 2026 American Academy of Pediatrics, aims to improve obstetric and pediatric clinicians ability to align RSV prevention guidance with coordinated implementation and caregiver counseling across the care continuum. As a result of this educational curriculum, learners will be better able to: 1. Discuss the rationale for RSV immunoprophylaxis for preventing RSV disease in early infancy; 2. Integrate guideline recommendations into shared clinical decision-making for the prevention of RSV in infants; 3. Outline the complementary roles of pre- and postnatal clinicians in coordinating RSV immunization counseling across the care continuum; and, 4. Implement coordinated communication strategies to support caregiver decision-making about RSV prevention. Learners have access to downloadable materials for future use in practice.
