The goal of this program is to improve management of sleepdisordered breathing and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Explain the STOP-BANG questionnaire and its usefulness in diagnosing sleep-disordered breathing. 2. List risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). 3. Manage OSA in patients through use of continuous positive airway pressure. 4. Diagnose HCM in patients through measurement of wall thickness. 5. Cite evidence showing effectiveness of mavacamten in treatment of HCM.
