SonoSim Ultrasound Training Solution GYN Ultrasound of Nonpregnant Abnormal Uterus Part 1: Advanced Clinical Ultrasound Module

Ultrasound is the optimal imaging modality for the evaluation of the uterus and preferred as the first imaging modality used when patient symptoms suggest uterine or other pelvic organ abnormalities. The GYN Ultrasound of Nonpregnant Abnormal Uterus Part 1: Advanced Clinical Ultrasound Module teaches medical professionals how to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the nonpregnant uterus using ultrasonography. This module concentrates on abnormal conditions of the myometrium, including congenital uterine malformations, adenomyosis, leiomyomas, and intrauterine device (IUD) localization. This module primarily focuses on image acquisition by transvaginal approach and 3D ultrasound, as the ability to display the midcoronal plane of the uterus allows for accurate assessment of the endometrial cavity and serosal surfaces. Learners develop appropriate ultrasound skills through ten hands-on scanning cases from real patients.
