The Promise of Oral Therapy for HER2-Mutated NSCLC: Unlocking New Treatment Opportunities with a Familiar Target

This enduring activity highlights key discussion points from the 2026 ASCO event and aims to improve clinicians’ knowledge and competence in incorporating novel HER2-directed TKIs into treatment plans for patients with advanced HER2-mutated non-small cell lung cancer. As a result of this educational curriculum, learners will be better able to: 1. Specify how TKIs may address unmet therapeutic needs for diverse patient populations with HER2-mutated NSCLC; 2. Interpret the clinical evidence for emerging oral TKIs for patients with previously treated HER2-mutated NSCLC; and, 3. Assess which patients may be candidates for oral HER2-targeting TKIs, as they become available, in the context of the current standard of care. Learners have access to downloadable materials for future use in practice.
