Translating Evidence Into Practice: Optimizing Chemotherapy-Free Intervals and Sequencing in mCRC

This enduring, case-based activity aims to improve clinicians knowledge and competence in selecting, initiating, monitoring, and managing therapy with TKIs and alternative mechanisms of action for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer to help reduce cumulative toxicities and improve quality of life. As a result of this activity, learners will be better able to: 1. Evaluate factors influencing a treatment switch from cytotoxic agents for patients with stable mCRC; 2. Formulate practical approaches for transitioning from chemotherapy to TKI treatment in later-line settings for patients with mCRC; and, 3. Describe strategies to prolong chemotherapy-free disease control with TKIs. Learners have access to downloadable materials for future use.
