The IBD Quest curriculum uses a modular, gamified format to immerse clinicians in personalized, practical education. There are 4 activity formats: Competitive and Customized Learning – Participants race through real-time quizzes, earning points for correctly identifying clinical clues, distinguishing IBD from mimics, and aligning treatment choices with current standards. Scientific Scavenger Hunt – Pop-up modules highlight real-world challenges from delayed diagnosis and access inequities to misalignment between patient needs and system capacity. Interactive Simulation Lab – In this hands-on, case-based simulation, learners move through real-world clinical scenarios involving treatment selection, escalation, and patient-centered care. Simulated Clinical Encounter with Faculty Commentary – . Learners shape the case outcome using audience polling and see firsthand how communication strategies influence therapeutic alignment and trust. Real-world scenarios help clinicians apply guideline-informed principles to patient specific challenges, including risk stratification, health equity, and shared decision making. The self-paced format allows for flexible access by busy providers, while layered content accommodates varying experience levels.
