Urgent Care Bootcamp is designed to quickly onboard clinicians who are about to start working in the urgent care setting and mitigate medicolegal risk as well as standardize clinical practice and promote excellent patient care. At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: Outline the basic clinical competencies that need to be mastered prior to independent clinical practice in the urgent care environment. Discuss key points relating to cutting-edge urgent care medicine topics. Discuss literature and consensus-based recommendations for practice improvement. Effectively translate the acquired strategies into improved diagnostics and subsequently implement a better treatment plan for their patients. Enhance the maintenance of current knowledge and enable the participating providers to address knowledge, competency and gaps in practice.
