This interactive course educates healthcare professionals on the importance of an interprofessional approach to Parkinson s disease care through three scenarios of people with Parkinson s at different stages, with varying support, resources and teams. Learning Objectives At the end of the activity, learners will be able to: Recognize the significance of an interprofessional care approach for people with Parkinson s throughout the course of their disease. Distinguish the roles of key team members within an interprofessional team caring for people with Parkinson s. Select relevant proactive approaches to enhance patient-centered care for people with Parkinson s and their care partners.
