The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to describe the post-desmopressin factor VIII (FVIII) and von Willebrand factor (VWF) response in HAC, based on a study of 361 HAC and a population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) model developed to analyze VWF and FVIII levels by considering F8 gene variants, demographic and laboratory covariates.
