The goal of this program is to improve outcomes of trauma resuscitation through collaboration with anesthesiology. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:Recognize how anesthesiology skills can be translated to critical trauma settings.Evaluate the contribution of anesthesiologists to the successful implementation of resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta in critical hemorrhage scenarios.Identify opportunities for anesthesiologists to participate as resuscitationists in nontraditional critical care settings.
