Children’s TiPS is a Pennsylvania HealthChoices program designed to increase the availability of child psychiatry consultation to pediatric primary care providers. Children s TIPS is funded by HealthChoices (Pennsylvania s Medical Assistance Program, or Medicaid), Children s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and UPMC HealthPlan to provide telephonic and real-time virtual assessments for youth with Medicaid, CHIP, and UPMC insurance, living in the Northwest and Southwest HealthChoice Zones.
