AAP Vaccine Confidence Media Skills ECHO c3

This CME activity will utilize a telementoring model, Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes). The model is designed to create communities of learners by bringing together health care providers and experts in topical areas using didactic and case based presentations, fostering an all learn, all teach approach. Using basic, widely available videoconferencing technology, clinical management tools, and case based learning, health care providers develop knowledge and self efficacy on diseases, conditions, and/or processes. Sessions will occur twice per month for one hour for a total of 6 sessions. ECHO session will include a brief presentation by an expert faculty, followed by participants sharing their experience/feedback regarding homework assigned from the previous session (ie, review media interview and discuss what went well/improvements/suggestions). Through regular attendance, participants will improve knowledge, skills, and confidence for participants to feel comfortable combating the rising threat of vaccine disinformation and to flood the zone with pro-vaccine, message tested stories and testimonials.
