This activity, the Intermediate-Advanced Rheumatologic Ultrasound course (14.25 CE) was designed to improve competency, performance and patient outcomes in patient care and medical knowledge by elevating the knowledge and skill sets the team and advance interprofessional practice providers on the importance, indications and usefulness of ultrasound by providing real time information that would help clinicians provide timely and efficient medical information that augments shared decision making with the patient at the point of care. The activity will also provide education on Improving systems to incorporate point-of-care ultrasound in a model that facilitates patient-centeredness, lowers overall economic cost (i.e., bypassing the need to get MRI), and potentially lessening disability because of shorter timeframes to reach a diagnosis and implement treatment. Upon completion of the Intermediate-Advanced Rheumatologic Ultrasound Course, participants will be able to: -Identify ultrasound pathologies associated with a range of rheumatic conditions -Utilize validated scoring systems to analyze and interpret ultrasound images of diverse rheumatic conditions -Facilitate improved shared decision-making with patients by leveraging insights gained from point-of-care ultrasound images -Demonstrate common regional mechanical issues and their assessment by ultrasound -Implement dynamic maneuvers that enhance the quality of ultrasound image acquisition
