After completion of this program participants should be able to realize the current crisis and cost of substance use disorder on their patients and society, understand the main types of substance use disorders and the available treatments, recognize the bene ts of buprenorphine and its use in opioid use disorder, and implement treatments and harm reduction techniques to improve and save lives.
