Peripheral nerve injuries represent a clinically significant source of morbidity, litigation, and long-term disability across surgical and nonsurgical settings. Despite established classification systems and evidence-based management algorithms, clinicians frequently encounter delays in diagnosis, suboptimal treatment sequencing, and inconsistent application of neurophysiologic and imaging data. This activity provides a comprehensive review of the pathophysiology, grading, diagnostic evaluation, and surgical and nonsurgical management of peripheral nerve injury. Participants gain a structured framework for early recognition of injury, electrophysiologic interpretation, and timely intervention. The activity also addresses rehabilitation principles, prognostic factors, and interprofessional coordination to optimize functional recovery. By bridging existing gaps between current practice and evidence-based standards, this educational activity is designed to improve clinical decision-making and promote patient-centered outcomes in the care of individuals with peripheral nerve injuries.
