Participants will learn the process of how to identify, prepare, write, and publish a medical case report for themselves and for training students and residents. Case reports are one of the earliest models of disseminated scientific knowledge and continue to play an important role in medical communication by presenting novel evidence quickly. While case reports are low level evidence for clinical decision making, they are frequently a venue for reporting initial important medical events. Case reports are also an invaluable experience for those new to scholarly communication.
