Eosinophilic Pustular Folliculitis

Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis (EPF) is a dermatological disease process that may present across the lifespan or in immunosuppressed patients. Although EPF is a benign disease process with no potential for malignant transformation, the chronicity of the disorder paired with intense pruritus may cause significant morbidity for affected patients. There are 3 subtypes of EPF, and the subtype dictates the disease course and treatment recommendations.
